Paul Desmond, President
Paul is President of Lowry Research. He joined the firm in 1964 as Director of Research and advanced to the Presidency in 1972. Over the past 45+ years he has earned the distinction of being regarded as the Dean of Supply/Demand analysis. Paul has been a distinguished member of the Market Technicians Association, serving as its President from 1997-1999. He was honored as the winner of the very prestigious Charles H. Dow Award in 2002, based on his long recognized expertise on the study of 90% market moves, which is only one of the unique elements to our analysis here at Lowry's. Paul was honored in 2009 as the Technical Analyst of the Year by the Technical Analyst Magazine of London. Paul is also a co-founder of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts (AAPTA).
Dick Dickson, Senior Market Strategist
Dick is Lowry's Senior Market Strategist and market commentator. Dick has been a market analyst for over 30 years. As Senior Equity Strategist for several major regional brokerage firms, Dick has amassed an impressive list of accomplishments. He has managed a proprietary growth fund with above average results and has been responsible for the development of technical models to identify long-term market leadership. He is a frequent contributor to many radio and television shows and his words are seen often in newspaper and financial publications. Dick has served on the Board of Directors of the Market Technicians Association's Educational Committee. He initiated and taught the first full credit course on technical analysis at the university level in the United States. In 1997, Dick received the MTA's "Best of the Best" award for his work in education.
Vincent Randazzo, CMT, Senior Market Analyst
Vincent Randazzo, CMT is a Senior Market Analyst at Lowry Research with professional equity market experience in research, research sales and market intelligence dating back to 2002. Prior to joining Lowry, Vincent held the position of Chief Technical Analyst at NASDAQ, as well as Director of Research at ICAP and as an Equity Research Salesperson at both Morgan Stanley and UBS in New York City. He has written numerous articles for Bloomberg, Tabb Forum, Interactive Brokers as well as NASDAQ. Vincent holds a BA in Economics from Drew University and has been a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) since January, 2008.
Richard Ramsey, Vice President of Operations
Richard brings the dynamic of Lowry's web sites to reality. As Vice President he serves as head of Operations, overseeing Lowry's 75+ year historical database. He has been an avid student of the market since 1977 from both a fundamental as well as a technical standpoint, providing an additional dimension to our service. Over the years, he has created, researched, and tested and implemented many financial models and techniques which have allowed him to develop an extensive understanding of how the markets function. His combination of varied approaches has provided him with a unique perspective on the formation of market patterns. His 20 years of association with Lowry makes him an integral member of the team.
Chris Diodato, CMT, Market Analyst
Chris Diodato, CMT is a Research Analyst with Lowry Research. Chris’ prior experience dealt in both investment research and management. As a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, he helped clients achieve their financial goals using self-developed investment models based on Supply and Demand. Then at Cetera Retirement Services, Chris was an Analyst on their portfolio management team and assisted with asset allocation decisions for the firm’s discretionary accounts. Chris is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) charter holder as well as a 2017 Level II Candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
